If you are reading this, you are likely looking for a Physiotherapist role in the Region and you may or may not be happy with where you are currently.

Changing jobs from one job advertisement and nothing else can be a big and difficult decision to make. I hope by reading on, I make it easier for you to consider working with us at Lithgow Physiotherapy.

You

You are a Physiotherapist who loves or is curious about Private Practice. You are looking for a challenge, financial reward for your hard work and an amazing team environment.

You enjoy being busy, solving problems and genuinely wanting your patients to achieve their goals. You are not afraid to work hard and advocating for your patients. You are in the Central West or the Blue Mountains or are looking at relocating to the gorgeous area we live in.

You have current AHPRA Registration or you are in your final year of Uni, and have full working rights in Australia.

About Us

At Lithgow Physiotherapy, our goal is to provide outstanding and highly effective care to the residents of Lithgow and surrounds.  We are a well-established and reputable clinic serving a diverse range of patients and presentations which adds to the fun of a varied caseload. A quick look at our Google Profile will show you why patients love entrusting their health with us.

We are located in Lithgow (45 minutes from Bathurst and 40 minutes from Katoomba), close to the CBD and Shops, where we have team lunches together when it’s someone’s birthday or celebrating a milestone. We work out of a historic building (Old Convent) that has 7 treatment beds and is airconditioned/ heated all year round. We also have a gym space for functional assessments and strength training where more space is needed with the patient.

The Team of 3 Physios has a combined clinical experience of 20 years. We catch up weekly to discuss our complex patients and help each other develop professionally and personally. We also have full administration coverage so you can focus on doing what you love most – treat patients. We are trained in dry needling – all with different techniques.

This role has become available as one of our Physiotherapists is relocating to Northern NSW, and we have an opening for a new Physiotherapist – Part Time or Full Time. You will be taking over the bulk of her Patients and we will assist in generating a caseload for you. We also have a current waitlist of patients that we do not have capacity to see.  You do not need to start your caseload from scratch. We are a strong, stable and loyal team, with our longest staff member being us for 24 years!

The Role

As a Physiotherapist at Lithgow Physiotherapy, this will be a part time to full time position role (8 hrs – 38hrs), with no weekend work guaranteed. You choose your days and hours and we’ll make sure it works for you.

Our appointment lengths are 30 minutes, but to get you started, always happy to extend this to 45-60 minutes if required. We use Cliniko as our Practice Management System and you will be provided with a work laptop. We also allocate time throughout the day so you can catch up on notes.

Be rewarded with our Generous Commission System of and Above Award Remuneration where it is competitive with Sydney Clinics.

Relocation Assistance of $1500 is available for the right candidate if relocation is on your radar and up to $1500 annual CPD Allowance (For a Full Time Position) is provided so you can keep sharpening your clinical skills.

You will also have weekly 45-minute case conference meetings with other physiotherapists, and you will have 1:1 monthly mentoring with the Principal and Senior Physiotherapist. You will also have annualised salary reviews so you keep up with the cost of living.
